Safeguarding

At the Catholic Institute Athletic Club the safety, welfare and wellbeing of all our members especially children and vulnerable adults is our highest priority. We are fully committed to creating and maintaining a safe, welcoming and positive environment where participants can enjoy sport free from harm, abuse or neglect. This commitment is delivered through robust safeguarding practices, policies and procedures developed in accordance with national legislation such as the Children First Act 2015 and in line with the guidance and standards promoted by our national governing bodies and Sport Ireland.

We expect everyone involved with the club: coaches, volunteers, members and parents/guardians to share this responsibility in providing a safe sporting experience for all.
